Tuesday Email from Joe

Is your September flying by as quickly as mine?  It is difficult to believe that our September 19 Praise Date is this Sunday.  Before we turn around, it will be Christmas!

Tomorrow's rehearsal will be important.  Please be on time.  In addition to our top to bottom run through of the entire set, we need to record choir vocals for "Holy, Holy, Holy", master the sign language on "Pray to Your Name", and be sure we are all doing the same thing on the bridge of "Jesus Messiah".  Needless to say, we will have a full and busy rehearsal.

PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING YOUR FM RECEIVERS AND EARBUDS TO REHEARSAL.  You will need them during our recording session.

Dennis Shelby has agreed to take over the Security Coordinator role since Kelvin has been sent on another long term temporary assignment.  In order to provide security to everyone walking to cars after rehearsal, Dennis is asking that we park on the NORTH side of the Brookwood building.  This is the parking lot near the Administration building.  Of course, if you don't feel that you need security, you may park wherever you choose.

Here's a good thought that I picked up from Rick Warren on Twitter:  "Ultimately, it's not what you know that shapes your life, but what you worship."

May the worship of God that we do in front of our congregation simply be an portion of the worship we live every day!
